How to Reach Us
How do I get to Bonifacio?
From Italy:
- By plane you can arrive in Bastia (Corsica) and then rent a car to reach Bonifacio. Or you can arrive at the airport of Olbia (Italy) and by bus or taxi or rental car you arrive in Santa Teresa di Gallura and then by ferry in 50 min you can arrive in Bonifacio. Depending on the departure airport, check the availability of the airlines’ route.
- By ferry departures from Livorno and Savona arriving in Bastia or Porto Vecchio and then by car to Bonifacio.
From France and other countries:
- By plane to the Figari airport, the nearest, about 20 minutes from Bonifacio; or Ajaccio or Bastia.
- By ferry from France to the ports of Ajaccio, Propriano, Porto Vecchio (the nearest, about 30 minutes from Bonifacio) and Bastia.
Where exactly are the apartments?
The apartments are located in the Haute-Ville Citadel of Bonifacio.
Is it possible to arrive any day?
You can arrive the day you prefer.
Can I do the check-in before 17:00?
Check-in is from 17:00 to be able to deliver the apartment in perfect condition; but if you arrive before this time you can deposit your baggage in a room in rue S. Dominique, which I will indicate you by mail or message before of your arrival, in case of your specific request. In case we could make the apartment available before 17:00 we will send you a message on the day of your arrival, informing you of the time.
How to Park
Is it possible to reserve a parking space?
In Bonifacio it is not possible to reserve a parking space and if you purchase the Parking Card “Vacanciers” you can park in the car parks made available by the Municipality.

Are there the bed sheets?
The apartment is equipped with bed sheets.
Are there bath towels?
The apartment is equipped with large and small bath towels.
Is there a hair dryer?
The apartment is equipped with a professional hair dryer with also the diffuser.
Are there a washing machine and a dishwasher?
The apartment is equipped with washing machine and dishwasher.
Does the property have a pool?
ATTENTION: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this service is suspended indefinitely from May 2020.
Our property “Ai Fari” collaborates with the prestigious Hotel “Genovese” in the Haute-Ville, 5 minutes walk from our apartments. Reserving a table at the Genovese Restaurant, for Ai Fari guests there is the possibility of using the sunbeds and the spectacular swimming pool of the Hotel.

Can you provide a cot for children up to 3 years?
For all children up to 3 years, we will provide a folding cot.
In the Faro della Madonetta apartment will be placed in the living room.
In the Faro di Capo Testa apartment will be placed in the master bedroom and the space will become smaller, but other families they have adapted and have been equally good.
In any case if you have children, we recommend the Faro della Madonetta apartment.
Do the apartments have a sea view?
The apartments have a sea view and in particular the Faro di Capo Testa apartment has a small terrace overlooking the cliffs of Bonifacio and the near Sardinia.
Are there common areas?
The apartments are independent and located inside historic buildings.
Are the apartments Bio?
The apartments are built with the typical white limestone of Bonifacio, are furnished with wood from certified renewable sources and painted with non-toxic paints. Cleaning is done with natural biological materials and personal hygiene products are natural.
Beaches and Surroundings
How far are the beaches?
There are many beaches in Bonifacio and in the South of Corsica. The nearest is 600 meters far and can be reached on foot, the others are all reachable in about 10-20 minutes by car.
Can the beaches be reached on foot, by car, by motorbike or by bike?
Depending on the beach chosen, it can be reached by any means. The beaches reachable only on foot can take about 15 or 30 minutes, up to 90 minutes, depending on that choice.
Do the beaches have sand or rock?
What does the Beach Kit include? Who can use it for free?
The Beach Kit includes: umbrella and auger, beach towel, beach bag and cooler bag.
You can request it to the host and use it for the entire stay at the price indicated in the Terms and Conditions.
Customers who booked directly through the website www.aifari.eu, can use it for free for the entire stay.
Shopping
Are there Bio shops with food also for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs?
A very large and well-stocked store where you can buy organic food and food for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs, is located in Porto Vecchio, about 20 km from Bonifacio, on the left towards Bastia. It is called “Biodelice Marché Bio” and is open every day from Monday to Saturday from 08.30 to 20.00 and on Sunday from 08.30 to 13.00.
